Share what you're drinking — and who you're drinking it with.

Erwein is an app for people who like drinking in company. Capture what's in your glass, show your friends the place you're sitting in, and raise a glass with them — even when they're somewhere else entirely.

What Erwein does

Several cocktail glasses meeting over a table

The round

You share your drink, your friends toast back with theirs. What starts as a single moment grows into a round that includes the people who aren't at your table tonight.

Your people

Find the people you already drink with — through your contacts or your personal link. Recurring company becomes a circle you can look after, rather than one left to chance.

Your crews

The flatshare, the regulars' table, the club: a crew is a named group with a mark and a place of its own. Everything its people file lands in one feed, so the evening keeps its shape without anybody organising it.

Discover places

See where glasses are being raised right now and find spots near you. Every place carries what has been drunk there — by you and by others.

Your look back

By week, month or year: your most frequent places, your favourite drinks, your company. Not a score, but a memory for evenings you'd otherwise forget.

What's in the glass

Every drink comes with background right inside the app: origin, grape or brewing style, serving temperature, and how to tell quality.

What can be in the glass

Erwein knows nine categories, each with its own colour. Alcohol-free sits among them as an equal, not as a footnote.

All of them come with background reading inside the app — the FAQ covers what else Erwein does.

More than what's in the glass

Your mood tonight. Five flames say how the evening is going for you, before a single glass is filled. Your mood shows up in your friends' feed and on the map — and it ends with the night: at six in the morning it stops being current, whether you open the app or not.

Music that belongs to the evening. A mood and a story can each carry a soundtrack from Apple Music, and whoever sees it can play it. A list you put together can be saved to your own Apple Music library. Picking songs works without a subscription; playing them in full and saving a playlist needs one.

Crews. The flatshare, the regulars' table, the club: a crew is a fixed group with its own feed. A round ends with the night, a crew stays. Everyone in it can invite someone, and nobody can remove anyone else — you can only leave yourself.

The glass recognises itself. Once the photo is taken, Erwein offers what it believes is in it — the label, the family, the drink. That happens on your device using Apple's on-device model; the picture is not sent anywhere for it, and the suggestion stays a suggestion until you tap it.

What this is really about

Erwein is built around the moment someone lifts their glass. You photograph what you're drinking and say where you are. Your friends see it and toast back with a drink of their own — and that becomes a round, joined by people who aren't anywhere near your table. The ones who keep turning up become your regular company, and Erwein helps you keep that circle alive instead of leaving it to chance.

Erwein is not a review site and not a collector's album. It's the answer to the question of who you last raised a glass with.

Erwein is for adults. The app contains references to alcohol and is rated 17+. If you don't drink you're just as welcome — a glass of coffee, lemonade or water works exactly the same way.
